Job summary

Convergenz is seeking a full-time Vendor Maintenance Support in Washington, DC to support a government client’s financial operations team. This short-term contract is expected to run for approximately 4.5 months and will be on-site from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

The role focuses on vendor data entry and maintenance within PeopleSoft, reviewing vendor documentation, updating records, supporting payment processing, and responding to vendor inquiries with a commitment to accuracy

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with PeopleSoft, specifically Vendor and Accounts Payable modules.
  • 3+ years of Microsoft Office Suite experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a high-volume customer service environment.
  • High school diploma or higher.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, confidential team environment.
  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
  • Ability to work fully onsite in Washington, DC, Monday through Friday, generally 8:30 AM–5:30 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update vendor and customer profiles within PeopleSoft.
  • Process vendor additions, modifications, and other vendor maintenance requests.
  • Collect, review, and maintain W-9 and vendor certification documentation.
  • Validate vendor banking, tax identification, and other required information.
  • Assist with vendor information needed for IRS Form 1099 reporting.
  • Work with Accounting staff to support timely vendor payments.
  • Review vendor records for completeness, duplicates, and data accuracy.
  • Perform database cleanup and maintain accurate vendor information.
  • Respond to vendor questions and follow up regarding required documentation.
  • Assist with maintaining standard operating procedures related to vendor maintenance.
  • Process a high volume of calls, data entry, and documentation while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Vendor Maintenance Support – Washington, DC

We are seeking a full-time Vendor Maintenance Support professional to support a government client’s financial operations team in Washington, DC. This is a short-term contract expected to run for approximately 4.5 months.

This is a hands-on, transaction-focused position responsible for vendor data entry and maintenance within PeopleSoft, reviewing vendor documentation, updating records, supporting payment processing, and responding to vendor inquiries. The ideal candidate will be comfortable processing a high volume of vendor records and documentation while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

  • High school diploma or higher.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, confidential team environment.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
