from an ABA-accredited school, active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, and at least 3 years drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including technology agreements.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school; active bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum 3 years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including technology agreements.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and business-partnering skills.
• Familiarity with generative AI contracting concepts and data rights.
• Ability to manage a high volume of matters with competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary lawyer for vendor and supplier contracts across all business functions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including technology and AI-related contracts.
• Lead contracting for technology engagements, advising on data rights, confidentiality, and liability allocation.
• Coordinate with attorneys specializing in privacy and data security for specialized matters.
• Partner with business stakeholders to align contract terms with internal policies.
• Support and maintain standard contract templates and guidance.
• Monitor legal developments in AI governance and data privacy, advising on implications for contracts.
• Work with contract administrators to manage the firm's contract portfolio.
