Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Boston, MA seeks a Vendor Management Counsel to join a dynamic internal legal team. The role supports multiple business functions and manages a wide range of vendor and supplier contracts, with the flexibility of fully remote or hybrid work.

You will draft, review, and negotiate technology licenses and SaaS agreements, lead contracting for AI-related engagements, and coordinate with privacy and data security attorneys to ensure risk is clearly communicated and aligned with

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum 3 years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including technology agreements.
• Familiarity with generative AI contracting concepts and data rights.
• Ability to manage a high volume of matters with competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary lawyer for vendor and supplier contracts across all business functions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including technology licenses and SaaS agreements.
• Lead contracting for technology and AI-related engagements, advising on data rights and liability allocation.
• Coordinate with attorneys specializing in privacy and data security for specialized matters.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify legal risks and align contract terms with policies.
• Support and maintain standard contract templates and clause guidance.
• Monitor legal developments in AI governance and data privacy, advising on implications for contracts.
• Work with contract administrators to manage the firm’s contract portfolio.
