BCG Attorney Search seeks a Vendor Management Counsel in New York, NY to join a dynamic internal legal team and manage vendor and supplier contracts across business functions. The role offers a hybrid or fully remote work arrangement.

The successful candidate will draft, review, and negotiate technology and procurement agreements, advise on data rights and liability, and collaborate with privacy and data security attorneys to ensure compliance and alignment with internal policies.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum 3 years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including technology agreements.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and business-partnering skills.
• Familiarity with generative AI contracting concepts and data rights.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary lawyer for vendor and supplier contracts across all business functions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including technology and procurement contracts.
• Lead contracting for technology and AI-related engagements, advising on data rights and liability allocation.
• Coordinate with privacy and data security attorneys for specialized matters.
• Partner with business stakeholders to align contract terms with internal policies.
• Support and maintain standard contract templates and clause guidance.
• Monitor AI governance and data privacy developments and advise on implications for contracts.
• Work closely with contract administrators to manage the firm’s contract portfolio.
