Job summary

Medline is hiring a Prime Vendor Analyst in Birmingham, AL to analyze business trends and present insights that drive improvements for customers and the sales organization. You will work with internal teams and vendors to identify opportunities, manage projects and KPI performance, and support pricing, inventory, and contract terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of sales analysis and support, OR High School Diploma with at least 5 years of sales analysis and support.
• Experience delivering presentations to diverse audiences and analyzing data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization and with vendors.
• Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills (SUM, borders, column width, charts, wrap, sorting, headers/footers, print scaling).
• Willingness to travel for business needs (training, meetings, development).

Responsibilities

• Analyze and present business trends to identify opportunities for improvement for the customer and sales organization.
• Meet with customers and vendors to discuss products, pricing, and terms; present findings to procurement.
• Measure pricing, inventory KPIs, and savings; manage contracts and track projects.
• Lead weekly meetings with supply chain, materials services, and Medline Sales teams; communicate resolutions timely.
• Develop and maintain reporting requirements with Sales, IS, and Finance to ensure timely data.
