Job summary

Metro Vein Centers is seeking a Physician Liaison to drive referral growth across designated territories in the United States. You’ll build face-to-face relationships with primary care physicians, podiatrists, and clinical staff, educating them on CVI and expanding patient access to specialized vein care.

You will report to the National Director of Referral Development with ~90% field time and minimal overnight travel. Compensation ranges with a strong benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
• 2–4+ years outside sales or field territory management experience in healthcare.
• Proven track record of developing healthcare provider relationships from scratch.
• Proficient in CRM tracking (HubSpot preferred) for logging daily activity and monitoring referral progress.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations (Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person field visits to PCPs, podiatrists, family medicine, and wound care practices across territory; 10–15 in-person activities per day.
• Build strong relationships with physicians, referral coordinators, and front desk staff to establish MVC as preferred vein care referral partner.
• Collaborate with internal physicians and operational staff to support success in the role.
• Educate clinical teams on CVI symptoms and treatment options; focus on education over hard selling.
• Organize physician lunch-and-learns and local field events; introductions doctor-to-doctor.
• Log all visits and follow-ups in HubSpot within 24 hours.
• Distribute educational collateral and referral materials to referring offices.
• Represent MVC at local community events and clinic openings to grow market share.
