Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Specialist II to handle title processing for buyers and sellers in New Jersey. The role involves reviewing titles, signing and reassigning titles, and preparing required affidavits or corrections as needed.

You'll respond to client inquiries, resolve title issues per state rules, and coordinate with BMV/DMV agencies. The job includes processing documents, posting charges, and managing payments through Oracle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience or higher degree/certification
• Experience in vehicle titles and title handling is required
• Strong organizational and detailed orientation are essential
• Ability to type and use 10-key proficiently; effective communication and customer service are expected

Responsibilities

• Review titles for negotiability and reassign titles for buyers and sellers
• Complete applications for new titles on behalf of clients
• Prepare repossession affidavits and affidavits of corrections as needed
• Answer client inquiries and escalate title issues to resolution
• Troubleshoot and resolve title issues in accordance with state requirements
• Coordinate with BMV/DMV agencies and monitor aging of titles
• Process documents from clients to complete title follow-up and post charges to units
• Submit check requests for work through Oracle
