Cox Automotive Canada is seeking a Title Specialist I to accurately process vehicle titles, verify information, stay current with title laws, and resolve issues with clients and regulatory agencies.

The shift is Monday through Friday, 10 AM–7 PM. Responsibilities include reviewing titles for negotiability, completing title applications, and managing lien-related tasks for NextGear Capital while addressing client inquiries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Generally, less than 2 years of experience expected.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Effective communication skills and a strong customer service attitude required.
• Sitting and standing for extended periods.
• Bending and light lifting 10 lbs or less required.
• Extensive detail handwritten and computer work.

Responsibilities

• Review titles for negotiability, sign and reassign titles for sellers and buyers.
• Complete application for new title on behalf of clients as needed.
• Facilitate lien perfection on NextGear Capital financed collateral when required.
• Release a NextGear Capital lien on collateral that has been paid in full according to policy.
• Answer communications from clients on title questions.
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
