Job summary

Signature Federal Credit Union is seeking a Title Specialist in the Collections Department to process vehicle titles according to state guidelines, ensuring accuracy and timely completion while delivering high levels of member satisfaction.

You will handle title perfection, lien issues, and related inquiries, participate in ELT transitions to boost efficiency, and distribute status reports to keep colleagues informed.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills and be detail oriented.
• Must have an understanding of lending and finance.
• Must understand basic financial calculations.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be able to operate general office equipment including 10-key calculator, copier, fax, and computer.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process incoming titles and perfection of unperfected titles.
• Review monthly Title Dashboard and record titles daily.
• Answer member inquiries regarding title perfection and releases.
• Manage ELT process to increase efficiency of title perfection process.
• Distribute regular status reports and employee communication on active issues involving title perfection and collateral management.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.
