Job summary

Greenwood Credit Union is seeking a detail‑oriented Loan Operations specialist focused on vehicle title administration, GAP refunds, and total loss claim management. The role supports loan portfolios with strong knowledge of servicing, while ensuring compliant processing for members, dealers, insurers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate will handle title inquiries, coordinate GAP submissions and refunds, and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum two years consumer lending or loan servicing experience preferred.
• Minimum two years auto lending experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor receipt, recording, and release of vehicle titles and lien filings.
• Handle title-related inquiries from members, dealers, and insurers.
• Research resolution of processing errors on uncollected titles.
• Manage total loss claim processing and liaise with insurers for valuation and settlement.
• Coordinate GAP claim submissions and refunds on early loan payoffs.
• Maintain audit-ready records for title and insurance activities.
• Perform loan onboarding, payoffs, disbursements, and other maintenance tasks.
• Provide escrow administration backup and insurance/tax tracking.
• Assist with audits, investor reporting, and servicing of loans.
