Job summary

Community First Credit Union in Wisconsin seeks a Vehicle Title and Lien Specialist to process collateral documentation and ensure liens are properly perfected. You will work in a high-volume, team-oriented environment combining precision with member-facing service.

You will collaborate with internal teams, dealers, DMV/DNR offices, and other financial institutions to move collateral documentation efficiently and correctly, maintaining strong records and supporting smooth loan maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of lending or financial services experience preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, DealerTrack, DocuSign, and other web-based systems preferred.
• A passion for providing outstanding service to our members—internal and external.
• A drive to work hard, find solutions, and have fun.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding service to both external and internal members.
• Track and resolve unperfected liens; review post-closing reports to identify missing lien filings and ensure timely resolution.
• Build partnerships with members and third-party partners to obtain documentation for lien perfection and respond to lender inquiries.
• Perfect and process DMV/DNR documentation to secure lien perfection and handle collateral corrections.
• Maintain accurate records; balance GL accounts and monitor liens and releases on paid-off loans.
• Monitor and process communications within shared inboxes and maintain DMV license plate and sticker inventory in line with regulatory controls.
