Job summary

Wayve is building the leading AI platform for autonomous driving with a hybrid work model. The Vehicle Software Engineering team owns reliability tooling and observability for real-world autonomous vehicle operations, collaborating with software, operations, and field teams to detect, triage, and resolve issues effectively.

You will write production-grade code daily in Python, C++, or Rust, debug at the system level, and contribute to CI/CD, containerisation, and data-driven reliability tooling.

Qualifications

• Production quality code written daily in Python/C++/Rust.
• Strong debugging in Linux and systems level environments.
• Experience with CI/CD, containers, networking, and observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve tooling, automation, observability, and incident-management for vehicle software reliability.
• Collaborate with field engineers, software teams, and operations to diagnose reliability issues and improve performance.
• Own hands-on debugging across Linux, logs, metrics, traces, and vehicle data.
• Develop reliability improvements to reduce manual intervention and speed up triage and recovery.
• Support vehicle-centric operations including safety-operator tools and partner programs.
