Job summary

Wayve seeks a Fleet Reliability Engineer to strengthen systems supporting autonomous vehicle operations. You will monitor health, investigate incidents end-to-end, and contribute to post-incident reviews across software, infra, networking and fleet ops.

You’ll build automation, improve monitoring and SLIs/SLOs, and influence system design to reduce operational pain points across cloud and vehicle-adjacent environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar role supporting live production systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++ or Rust with Linux fundamentals.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containers and Kubernetes; observability tools and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor live system health using logs, metrics, traces, alerts and dashboards; identify issues before they affect operations.
• Participate in on-call rotation and post-incident reviews; drive mitigation to root cause.
• Develop tools and automation to reduce manual operational work and improve detection and remediation workflows.
