Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge clients and technicians in its state-of-the-art service lanes. You’ll set appointments, greet customers, assess vehicle needs, and clearly explain repair recommendations while pursuing upsell opportunities to keep vehicles safe.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, a proactive service mindset, and a commitment to exceptional customer experiences; a valid in-state driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers and maintain relationships.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers for a great service experience.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction scores.
• Greet customers politely when they arrive and determine vehicle needs.
• Explain technician recommendations in clear terms and suggest upsell opportunities.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates and maintain transparency.
• Communicate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely work.
• Follow up with customers on vehicle status and satisfaction.
