Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor in Houston to bridge communication between service technicians and customers in state-of-the-art service departments. You will explain technician recommendations in plain language and identify up-sell opportunities to keep drivers safe and their vehicles well maintained.

In this role you will set appointments, greet customers, determine vehicle needs, and produce transparent repair orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in sales is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments to ensure a smooth service experience.
• Explain technician recommendations in clear language and suggest up-sell opportunities.
• Greet customers and determine vehicle needs based on walk-arounds and test drives.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates, with full transparency.
• Communicate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely completion of work.
• Follow up with customers on status and satisfaction.
