Ryder in Converse, TX seeks a Vehicle Sales Manager to lead retail vehicle sales, build a strong local network and optimize pricing and promotions. You’ll drive marketing, sales and customer satisfaction initiatives, coordinate wholesale and export units, and promote Ryder Financing to minimize repossessions.

The role offers a base salary of $43k–$50k with guaranteed allowance and an anticipated first-year earnings of $90k–$100k, plus a full benefits package, 401(k) match and employee discounts.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with emphasis on marketing and sales.
• 3+ years in Ryder or industry experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Strong technical aptitude.

Aufgaben

• Aggressively builds retail vehicle sales network through advertising, direct mail, prospect list development, walk-ins, cold calls and events.
• Maintains inventory control with proper bills of sale, title information and warranty forms.
• Communicates effectively with customers, employees and management.
• Monitors customer satisfaction and drives continuous improvement to boost loyalty.
• Ensures vehicles are accepted for sale in Road Ready condition.
• Monitors sales programs and promotions to minimize inventory holding time and maximize gains.
• Identifies surplus and deficient inventory and recommends solutions.
• Coordinates transport of area trade, wholesale and export units.
• Acts as a resource on market demands, pricing, and out-of-service quality.
