Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Converse, TX is seeking a Vehicle Sales Manager to lead marketing, sales and customer satisfaction initiatives and to expand our retail network.

You will coach a fast-paced team, coordinate with management, promote Ryder Financing, and work to minimize repossessions while accelerating vehicle sales. Competitive base pay plus commission, full benefits, and a 401(k) match are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and/or Sales preferred.
• 3+ years in sales/industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aggressively builds a retail vehicle sales network through advertising, direct mail, prospect list development, walk-ins, cold calls and events.
• Maintains inventory control through proper preparation of bills of sale, title information and warranty forms.
• Effectively communicates with customers, employees and management.
• Monitors customer satisfaction and implements continuous improvement to drive loyalty.
• Ensures vehicles are accepted for sale in Road Ready condition.
• Monitors retail sales and promotions, providing feedback to minimize inventory holding time.
