Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Line Lead to supervise and develop hourly associates in an Inspection Center. You will manage car movement, ensure safety, and drive production quality to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals.

You will coach team members, communicate performance expectations, and collaborate with the Inspection Center GM to decide on repairs and quality outcomes. A strong Lean/process background is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience using computers.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs and no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years).
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Standing for extended periods in variable shop conditions (cold, hot, noisy, wet).
• Must wear safety equipment when required.
• Familiarity with Carvana’s reconditioning process and Lean principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely and meet production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the team; identify strengths/weaknesses and drive improvements.
• Coach, develop, and perform performance management for team members.
• Communicate expectations, performance measures, and goals clearly to the team.
• Lead and train production associates using Quality Control standards to minimize re-checks and delays.
