Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Detail Line Lead to supervise an Inspection Center team, driving safety, efficiency, and quality. You will guide hourly associates, monitor production targets, and coordinate repairs or rejections based on cost and quality.

You will coach staff, uphold Carvana values, and ensure clear communication of goals, performance metrics, and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience using computers
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Understanding of reconditioning processes and lean principles
• Valid driver’s license with clean record

Responsibilities

• Manage movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely to meet production/quality goals.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly inventory production targets.
• Oversee day-to-day team activities; identify strengths and opportunities.
• Coach and develop team; provide performance feedback.
• Create a positive environment aligned with Carvana values and standard procedures.
• Communicate expectations and performance metrics clearly to the team.
• Resolve conflicts among team members and monitor adherence to policies.
• Review defects and coordinate repairs or rejections based on cost/quality.
• Train team in Quality Control standards to minimize rework.
• Ensure safe practices to prevent injuries and manage workload efficiently.
