Job summary

Hertz is seeking a Vehicle Operations Manager in St. Louis, MO to lead back-of-house vehicle operations and care, driving efficiency and performance.

This role directs frontline teams, overseeing safety, budgets, and vendor relations while ensuring high customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in customer service or operations, with a Diploma as a minimum and a preference for a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years' experience in Customer Service or Operations; Car Rental, Hospitality or Tourism experience preferred
• Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily vehicle operations and revenue generation for their assigned function
• Leads and supports processes to meet and exceed customer expectations, and ensure alignment of the sales force with those sales methods and processes
• Champions productivity improvements via employee involvement and accountability; ensures employees follow the Standards of Work (SOW)
• Engages in effective communication plans to build employee engagement and achieve business results
• Conducts timely and constructive performance evaluations
• Participates in the recruiting process as required
• Provides management with updates and indicators as requested
• Maintains administrative duties according to company policy
