Job summary

Hertz Rent a Car in Chicago is seeking a Vehicle Operations Supervisor to lead Vehicle Service Associates and strengthen productivity through effective supervision and workflow management in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.

You will guide daily operations, monitor KPIs, provide coaching, manage onboarding, and ensure safe, efficient vehicle flow across shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. This hands-on role requires strong communication and leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years in an operations role with increasing responsibility.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead huddles to share priorities and daily goals.
• Ensure the location has supplies and cleaning products.
• Assist with lot setup to maintain vehicle flow.
• Monitor VSAs for procedure adherence and quality.
• Guide Conveyor Belt VSAs on vehicle priorities.
• Monitor radio for additional support requests.
• Track daily productivity and coach underperformers.
• Maintain clean pumps, lot, and Conveyor Belt area.
• Provide onboarding and training on new standards.
