Job summary

Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Senior Vehicle Operations Manager to lead back-office vehicle operations, care, and efficiency at a major location.

You will oversee managers, manage daily operations, fleet availability and revenue, and drive improvements while ensuring a positive rental experience. The role requires 1–3 years in customer service or operations, a High School Diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in Customer Service or Operations; Car Rental, Hospitality or Tourism experience preferred
• High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations
• Ability to influence
• Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee Vehicle Operations Managers and other vehicle operations employees
• Manage daily vehicle operations, fleet availability, and revenue generation for the assigned function
• Lead and support processes to meet and exceed expectations
• Resolve vehicle operations issues to ensure a positive rental experience
• Champion productivity improvements via employee involvement and accountability
• Engage in effective communication plans to build employee engagement and drive results
• Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
• Participate in the recruiting process as required
• Provide management with updates and indicators as requested
• Remain current on all administrative duties according to company policy
