Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking an entry-level Vehicle Data Entry/Porter in Elkridge, MD. You will input VIN, stock numbers, dealer IDs, and vehicle details into AS400, affix barcodes, place labels, and guide transporters to the drop zones.

You will also photograph vehicles on receipt. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 15 pounds, basic computer skills, and the stamina to stand, walk, bend, and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Input VIN, stock number, dealer ID, make, model, year, mileage, color and options into AS400 or relay to a co-worker for data entry.
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle.
• Place work orders and routing labels on vehicles.
• Direct transporters to proper car drop zones and report transport damage.
• Take digital images of vehicles upon receipt.
