Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking an on-site Vehicle Intake Associate to accurately enter vehicle details (VIN, stock number, dealer ID, make, model, year, mileage, color, options) into our system using a Zebra TC handheld device. You will label each vehicle with barcode stickers and help route vehicles to drop zones.

The role requires basic computer skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 15 pounds and standing for long periods outdoors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred, OR less than 2 years of related work experience.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required
• Basic computer skills required.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
• Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information for registration into the system using a handheld computer (Zebra TC) for each vehicle received at the Auction including: VIN, stock number, dealer identification number, make, model, year, mileage, color, options, etc.
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
• Associate and install OBDII tracking device.
• Direct transporters to proper car drop zone.
• Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
• Work in cooperation with safety leadership in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
