AutoNation is seeking a driven Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to buy additional inventory for the dealership. You will engage potential sellers, manage expectations, and drive the “We’ll Buy Your Car” process with a goal of timely appraisals and payments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Experience in sales or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to leads from AutoNation and third-party sites by phone, internet or walk-in.
• Identify and engage private parties looking to sell their vehicle.
• Set up appointments for dealership visits and vehicle appraisal.
• Execute the We’ll Buy Your Car same-day payment process.
• Review vehicle condition reports and conduct onsite inspections.
• Interact with customers throughout the day in person and by phone.
• Refer customers who prefer trade-in to the sales team.
