Job summary

AutoNation seeks a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to acquire inventory by purchasing customer vehicles and delivering exceptional customer experiences through the We’ll Buy Your Car process. The role emphasizes timely communication, flexible hours, and a strong focus on meeting the monthly pay target and bonus structure.

Responsibilities include handling leads, arranging visits for appraisals, inspecting vehicles, and facilitating trade-ins where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Extremely self-motivated and goal-driven.
• Ability to drive an exceptional customer experience.
• Demonstrated communication, prospecting, and interpersonal skills.
• Valid In-State Driver's License and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Responds to incoming leads via phone, internet, and walk-in traffic.
• Identifies and engages private parties looking to sell their vehicle.
• Sets up appointments for dealership visit and appraisal.
• Executes AutoNation We’ll Buy Your Car same-day payment process.
• Reviews condition reports and inspects vehicles onsite.
• Interacts with customers throughout the day, in-person and by phone.
• Refer customers preferring trade-in to the sales team.
