Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist in Phoenix to acquire inventory by purchasing customer vehicles. You will respond to leads via AutoNation and third-party sites, set up dealership visits for appraisals, and process same-day payments under the We’ll Buy Your Car program while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Ideal candidates have sales or customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to meet targets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Extremely self-motivated with strong time management.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Demonstrates exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in sales or customer service preferred.
• Proficient with technology and driving-related processes.
• Valid in-state driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming leads via AutoNation and third-party sites, by phone, internet and walk-ins
• Identify and engage private parties looking to sell their vehicle
• Set up appointments for dealership visits and appraisals
• Execute the We’ll Buy Your Car same-day payment process
• Review vehicle condition reports and conduct onsite inspections
• Interact with customers throughout the day, in person and by phone
• Refer customers who prefer trade-in to the sales team
