Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to grow our dealership inventory by purchasing customer vehicles. You’ll engage private parties, set up appraisals, and drive the We'll Buy Your Car program with a fast, friendly experience for customers.

Candidates need strong communication and interpersonal skills, with sales or customer service experience preferred. You’ll enjoy flexible hours and an hourly pay plus a bonus based on vehicles purchased, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Experience in sales or customer service preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to incoming leads via phone, internet, and walk-ins.
• Identifies and engages private parties looking to sell their vehicle.
• Sets up appointments for dealership visit and appraisal.
• Reviews vehicle condition reports and inspects vehicles on site.
• Interacts with customers throughout the day, in person and by phone.
• Refer customers who prefer to trade-in to the sales team.
