iENG Design in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a VDC Technology Specialist for its VDC Tech Group. The role focuses on Revit content management for fabrication, developing constructible families, and staying current with BIM processes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in applied science or equivalent experience in CAD Drafting.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks preferred.
• Design-build workflow mentality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and identify problems and provide creative solutions.
• Strong work ethic; able to work in a team or independently with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated to research projects and expand drafting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support Autodesk software solutions/installations on work computers.
• Develop or modify deliverables from BxP, drawing lists, or verbal instructions.
• Create deliverables with views, sections and details per standards with supervision.
• Coordinate with VDC/PMs/Engineering on project needs.
• Work with Revit content creation and management.
• Create and manage dynamic Revit Families for job requirements.
• Learn project and company standards and procedures.
• Stay current on new programs and processes and apply them.
