Job summary

iENG Design in Atlanta, GA is seeking a VDC Specialist with 5+ years of experience in mechanical piping design to join our VDC department. You will create, manage, and coordinate 3D models and drawings for mechanical piping systems, supporting the project lifecycle and field teams.

Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, BIM360, and strong teamwork are required. Travel may be needed. This role offers a competitive salary range, health and vision insurance, 401(k), PTO, holidays, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in applied science or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proficient with REVIT, AutoCAD, BIM360, Microsoft Teams, and Planner.

Responsibilities

• Generating deliverables such as spool drawings/maps, installation drawings, and hanger maps.
• Collaborating with engineers, designers, and other team members to integrate piping systems within the building model.
• Designing and modeling piping systems based on P&IDs and existing models.
• Providing technical support to project teams by troubleshooting VDC issues and assisting with model revisions.
• Developing hanger and fabrication plans for layout and steel.
