We are currently looking for a VDC Technology Specialist to join our VDC Tech Group team located at our office in Charlotte, NC. Our ideal candidate for a VDC Technology Specialist is someone who has 4 years of experience in a similar role or skillset. This role is responsible for Revit content management with a focus on creating constructible Revit families for fabrication. The knowledge of dynamic families and parametric values is preferred. This person will be someone who is dependable, willing to learn, showcases strong communication skills and is overall a team player.

Primary responsibilities for iENG's VDC Technology Specialist include:

• Supporting Autodesk software solutions/installations on work computers.
• Developing and/or modifying deliverables based on BxP, excel drawing lists and/or detailed verbal instructions.
• Developing deliverables with necessary views, sections and details using Company and/or Client standards and procedures with supervision.
• Coordinate with VDC/PMs/Engineering on project specific needs.
• Working with Revit content creation and management.
• Make and manage dynamic Revit Families for job specific requirements.
• Learning and understanding project and Company standards/procedures.
• Staying up to date on the newest programs or processes and learning said processes required for assignments.
• Continuously evaluating current methods used to accomplish the activities that have been assigned.
• Ensuring that all deliverables are compliant with Company and/or Client Standards, sketches, marked copies and written or verbal instructions.
• Effectively communicating and corresponding with team members to resolve issues and provide solutions.
• Troubleshooting frequently used software such as Revit, BIM360, ACC, Autocad etc. to resolve any software discrepancies.

Primary qualifications for iENG's VDC Technology Specialist include:

• Associate degree in applied science and/or equivalent experience in CAD Drafting required.
• Experience working in AutoCAD, REVIT, and Navisworks is preferred.
• Possessing a mentality that embraces a design-build workflow.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are expected.
• Ability to interpret and identify potential problems or risks and come up with creative solutions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well in both a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated to research assigned projects, new drafting techniques, and subject matter knowledge to further career growth.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

• Salary range: $75,000 - $110,000
