Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems seeks a VDC Content Developer to manage and create Revit families and Fabrication CADmep databases for hydronic, plumbing, and process piping trades. You will ensure digital assets align with shop standards and support VDC teams with advanced technical expertise.

The role requires expert Revit and CADmep skills, experience with Navisworks and ACC/BIM 360, and collaboration with regional teams to maintain synchronized databases and content quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of extensive experience with mechanical VDC content creation, Revit family building, and database management.
• Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Fabrication CADmep with strong piping content knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Extract and apply trade-specific database content from the master database to active project models with regional teams.
• Manage Revit libraries and Fabrication CADmep databases, creating highly parametric families and ITMs.
• Configure and maintain map.ini and global settings for uniform hydronic workflows.
• Audit databases and libraries to remove duplicates and broken links.
• Build and optimize piping Services and Service Templates for drafting and spooling.
• Coordinate with shop foremen and fabrication managers to sync exports with spooling software.
• Provide primary technical support for VDC personnel on piping database errors and Revit issues.
