VDC Engineer: Multidisciplinary BIM Coordination

Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a VDC/BIM specialist to support project-level workflows and coordinate multidisciplinary models. You will work with design, engineering and construction teams to improve efficiency and reduce conflicts across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include organizing federated models, reviewing source data, communicating clashes, and developing visuals to support RFI processing. A related degree and up to four years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 0-4 years of experience in VDC/BIM is required.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and communicating across design, engineering and construction disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Organize multidisciplinary models into a federated coordination model for design, fabrication and construction.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and trade partners to integrate BIM data and avoid conflicts.
• Review models for accuracy and alignment with requirements and execution plan.
• Identify and communicate clashes or constructability issues for timely resolution.
• Prepare visuals, drawings and documentation from models to support RFI processing.
• Follow up on RFIs to ensure timely responses.
• Track modeling progress to enable on-time coordination sign-off.
• Support Operations by applying VDC tools and navigating models to inform project execution.
