Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a VDC/BIM Coordinator in Florida to support project-level workflows using data-rich models for design, engineering, and construction coordination. You will help plan, track, and resolve issues before they impact timelines, ensuring cross-functional collaboration across teams.

The role emphasizes model organization, clash detection, and documentation generation to support efficient project execution and shop/fabrication level modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in VDC, BIM, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Organizes multidisciplinary models into a federated coordination model for design, fabrication and construction activities.
• Coordinates with architects, engineers, and trade partners to integrate BIM data and avoid conflicts.
• Reviews source models for accuracy and alignment with project requirements and execution plan.
• Identifies and communicates potential clashes or constructability issues to project teams and trade partners for timely resolution.
• Prepares visuals, drawings, and documentation from models to support project communication and RFI processing.
• Follows up on RFIs and ensures timely resolution.
• Tracks modeling progress and productivity to ensure on-time coordination sign-off.
• Supports operations by applying VDC tools and interpreting contract documents for project execution.
