Job summary

Intermountain Electric (IME) is seeking a VDC Engineer to bridge BIM VDC Detailers and Leads, ensuring coordinated, high-quality models and project standards.

You will facilitate communication across teams, manage model coordination, and support clash detection while mentoring BIM VDC Detailers I and II. The role focuses on collaboration with field teams and office staff to drive constructible solutions.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, CAD, or related field.
• Electrical construction experience preferred.
• Certifications in BIM VDC technologies are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing BIM VDC processes on assigned projects.
• Support BEP development and maintenance.
• Manage coordination models and perform clash detection.
• Produce 2D drawings and model-based documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams and lead meetings when needed.
