Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) is seeking a Digital Construction Coordinator to bridge BIM VDC detailers with leads, ensuring coordinated, high-quality models and project standards.

The role supports model management, clash detection, and office-field liaison across Colorado projects. Responsibilities include BIM implementation, BEPs, coordination modeling, and communications with architects, engineers, contractors, and field teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar BIM VDC software.
• Understanding of construction processes and project lifecycles.
• Strong communication and collaboration across diverse project teams.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Experience using cloud-based collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing BIM VDC processes on projects.
• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
• Ensure compliance with standards and client requirements.
• Manage coordination models using Revit/Navisworks.
• Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues.
• Produce 2D drawings and model-based documentation.
• Provide model extracts and coordination reports.
• Liaise between Detailer I/II and BIM VDC Lead.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and field teams.
• Lead coordination meetings when needed.
• Communicate with PMs, foremen and field crews for constructability.
