Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) is seeking a BIM VDC Engineer to bridge the gap between detailers and leads, ensuring coordinated, high-quality models for electrical construction projects.

You'll mentor Detailer I/II, support BIM workflows, and collaborate with architects, engineers, and field teams, with opportunities to lead coordination meetings and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• BIM VDC knowledge and coordination skills required.
• Experience with BIM workflows and BEP development preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration across project teams required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing BIM VDC processes on assigned projects.
• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
• Ensure adherence to standards and client requirements.
• Manage coordination models using Revit, Navisworks, and BIM tools.
• Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues.
• Produce 2D drawings and model-based documentation.
• Provide model extracts and coordination reports.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and field teams.
• Lead coordination meetings when needed.
• Mentor BIM VDC Detailer I/II team members.
