Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) seeks a senior BIM/VDC specialist to lead BIM implementation across projects, develop execution plans, and manage 3D models and clash detection. You will coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and owners to ensure accurate digital delivery and constructability.

Responsibilities include training teams, refining VDC processes, and applying simulation techniques to optimize site operations. Electrical construction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, CAD, or related field.
• Progressive experience leading BIM/VDC efforts within construction.
• Electrical construction experience preferred.
• Certifications in BIM/VDC technologies are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, execution, and maintenance of BIM processes on projects.
• Establish and manage BIM execution plans to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models and coordinate to resolve design conflicts.
• Facilitate coordination among stakeholders using digital platforms and ensure seamless information exchange.
• Apply VDC methodologies to improve planning, scheduling, and cost estimation; refine simulation techniques.
• Provide guidance and training on BIM/VDC best practices.
