Hensel Phelps is seeking a VDC Engineer to support project teams and mentor BIM Engineers. The role centers on model management and serving as the primary VDC liaison between design, engineering, trades, and operations.

You will coordinate architectural, MEPTF, structural, civil, and site components, resolve clashes, ensure model quality, and contribute to field alignment with the project control plan. A Bachelor’s degree and Autodesk experience are required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or Engineering.
• Expertise with Autodesk programs – AutoCAD and Revit.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Understanding concepts of VDC or BIM.
• Exposure to BIM systems (Revit, Synchro, Navisworks, SketchUp).
• Excellent computer skills: MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam.
• Strong personal management, organization and teamwork.
• Preferred: 3+ years in building or design industry.

Responsabilidades

• Support projects hand field related VDC activities.
• Execute project VDC Project Execution Plans and implementation strategies.
• Manage and coordinate architectural, MEPTF, structural, civil, specialty and site model components.
• Identify and resolve clash detections and design issues.
• Provide quality assurance on model reliability and content.
• Understand basic field layout principles.
• Enforce coordinated VDC schedule with tracking and notifications.
• Daily involvement with T&D, QPL, and 6-Step QC Process.
• Produce updates for field technology deployment and 3D coordination alignment.
