Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking an entry-level BIM Engineer to support VDC coordination and model management on design-to-construction projects. You will work with design, engineering, and operations teams to coordinate 3D models, assist in VDC initiatives, and contribute to LiDAR/Reality Capture efforts.

You’ll participate in on-site training, develop familiarity with company practices, and assist in preparing models for lift drawings, VR/AR, and laser scan integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or Engineering.
• Expertise with Autodesk programs – specifically AutoCAD and Revit.
• Exposure to BIM systems such as Navisworks, Synchro, Sketchup.

Responsibilities

• Participate in on-site training.
• Build knowledge of reality capture methods and data management (laser scanning, sUAS, LiDAR).
• Support development and execution of VDC project execution plans.
• Assist in modeling content for visualization and construction from design through construction.
