Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a senior BIM/VDC lead in Tampa to direct Building Information Modeling efforts aligned with project schedules and Turner Digital Build standards. You will guide the VDC team, implement best practices, and coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure successful BIM execution across complex scopes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in VDC, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management with relevant experience.
• CM-BIM designation is a plus.
• Ability to read contracts, drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Strong knowledge of BIM tools and applications in construction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee BIM field operations and engineering processes across multiple projects.
• Advise on VDC objectives to align with Turner Digital Build standards.
• Plan BIM tools and processes with the project team to meet constraints.
• Develop and refine BIM implementation plans with contract alignment.
• Provide quality control of quantity variance reports for estimating and change management.
• Mentor and lead VDC project team through planning and launch activities.
• Communicate BIM changes and impacts to the scheduling team.
• Review VDC-related change orders with the project team.
