Jacobs in the United States is seeking an experienced Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Engineer to lead digital delivery in Advanced Manufacturing. The role is site-based with a flexible home-office location across the U.S., focused on implementing BIM Execution Plans, coordinating 3D models, schedules, and cost data.

You will collaborate with engineers and clients, drive clash detection, manage laser scans, reality capture, and provide field support.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in VDC/BIM in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of BIM tech and its use in manufacturing Design and Construction.
• Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, Revizto and Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Responsabilidades

• Lead VDC/BIM delivery and align software with project goals.
• Define BIM Execution Plans for EPCM projects and manage 3D, 4D, and 5D tasks.
• Coordinate design and construction BIM data, including laser scans and reality capture.
• Lead on-site VDC activities and mentor team members on digital delivery.
• Manage Common Data Environment setup and clash resolution meetings.
