Job summary

Jacobs is hiring a VDC Lead to manage digital delivery across Advanced Manufacturing projects in the U.S. The role focuses on BIM execution, 3D/4D/5D objectives, and coordinating design-to-construction processes onsite and remotely.

You will lead BIM strategy, clash resolution, and laser-scan integration while guiding field teams and vendors to deliver optimized digital workflows within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in VDC/BIM roles within construction.
• Strong BIM tech in manufacturing design and construction.
• Proficient in Revit/Navisworks/Revizto and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Experience with laser scanning and point cloud data management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven onsite leadership of VDC activities.
• Ability to work on project-site and virtually with teams.
• Experience developing BIM execution plans.
• Knowledge of construction processes and MEP systems.
• Willing to work onsite near Corpus Christi, TX

Responsibilities

• Provide VDC/BIM/Digital Delivery management and leadership.
• Define digital delivery scope for project estimates and setup.
• Manage Common Data Environment from design to construction.
• Lead clash detection and resolution meetings with teams.
• Coordinate laser scan data integration and Scan-to-BIM efforts.
• Lead model redline/as-built processes and field guidance.
• Develop training materials and mentor team members.
• Act as on-site manager with daily leadership.
• Collaborate with stakeholders during proposals and estimates.
