Jacobs is seeking an experienced Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Engineer to lead digital delivery in the Advanced Manufacturing sector. This site‑based role offers a flexible home‑office location within the U.S.

and requires coordinating BIM execution plans, clash detection, and laser-scan integration for EPCM projects. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in VDC/BIM, strong software proficiency (Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, Autodesk Construction Cloud), and willingness to work on site in Texas.

Qualifications

7+ years of VDC/BIM experience in the construction industry.
Proficiency with BIM software and its application in manufacturing Design/Construction.
Experience with laser scanning and point cloud data management.
Strong communication, leadership and problem‑solving skills.
Willingness to work on site near Corpus Christi, TX.

Responsibilities

Provide VDC/BIM/Digital Delivery management and leadership.
Define digital delivery scope for project estimates and coordinate model deliverables.
Coordinate project technical setup and BIM execution planning for EPCM.
Lead clash detection and resolution meetings with design teams and trade partners.
Manage Common Data Environment (Autodesk Construction Cloud) for design to construction.
