Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC Lead to manage digital delivery in our Advanced Manufacturing group. This on-site role with a flexible home-office location supports EPCM projects, coordinating 3D/4D/5D BIM, laser scans, and model-based verification across multiple markets.

You will lead BIM execution, ensure data integrity in Autodesk Construction Cloud, and mentor project teams. You will work with stakeholders, coordinate with field operations, and contribute to proposals and estimates.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in VDC/BIM roles within construction
• Strong BIM tech application in manufacturing/design & construction
• Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, ACC
• Experience with laser scanning and point cloud data
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proven on-site VDC leadership experience
• Ability to work onsite and remotely in fast-paced projects
• Experience in developing BIM execution plans
• Strong understanding of construction processes and MEP systems
• Willingness to work onsite near Corpus Christi, TX

Responsibilities

• Lead VDC/BIM delivery across EPCM projects
• Define and implement BIM Execution Plans
• Coordinate 3D, 4D, 5D BIM tasks with teams
• Manage Common Data Environment usage (Autodesk Construction Cloud)
• Oversee clash detection and resolution with design partners
• Assist with Scan-to-BIM and reality capture workflows
• Support on-site teams with BIM-related field issues
• Mentor team members and contribute to business development proposals
