Job summary

Jacobs seeks an experienced VDC Lead to manage digital delivery for Advanced Manufacturing projects across the United States, with a site‑based role and flexible home-office options. You will drive BIM, 3D logistics, 4D scheduling, and 5D cost take‑offs, coordinating Autodesk Construction Cloud from design through construction.

You’ll lead clash detection, act as BIM SME, and coordinate laser scans and reality capture, while mentoring teams and ensuring on‑site delivery aligns with client goals

Qualifications

• 7+ years of VDC/BIM experience in the construction industry.
• Strong BIM technologies applied to manufacturing environments in Design and Construction.
• Proficient with Revit, Navisworks, Revizto and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Experience with laser scanning and point cloud data management.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proven on-site leadership of VDC activities.
• Ability to work on-site and virtually in a fast-paced project.
• Experience in developing BIM execution plans.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and MEP systems.
• Willingness to work on site near Corpus Christi, TX.

Responsibilities

• Provide VDC/BIM leadership to align technologies with project goals and define digital delivery scope.
• Create and implement BIM Execution Plans for EPCM and integrate VDC tasks (3D logistics, 4D, 5D).
• Define and manage the Common Data Environment (Autodesk Construction Cloud) from design to construction.
• Lead clash detection and resolution meetings; act as BIM SME on projects.
• Coordinate laser scan data integration and reality capture activities.
• Oversee model redline and as-built processes; verify installations with model-based practices.
• Develop training materials; mentor staff; provide in-field technical guidance and support.
