Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC Lead to manage digital delivery and BIM execution across Advanced Manufacturing projects in the U.S. This site-based role supports EPCM design and construction with hybrid work options, coordinating 3D/4D/5D deliverables and field integration.

Lead BIM implementation, supervise the Common Data Environment, and ensure clash detection, laser scan data, and reality capture activities align with project goals. Strong collaboration is essential across teams.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in VDC/BIM roles within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of BIM technologies and their application in manufacturing environments in Design and Construction.
• Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, Revizto) and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Experience with laser scanning and point cloud data management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of onsite leadership of VDC activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment on a project site and virtually.
• Experience in developing and implementing BIM execution plans.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and MEP systems.
• Willing to work on site at a project near Corpus Christi, TX

Responsibilities

• Provide VDC/BIM/Digital Delivery management and leadership.
• Define digital delivery scope for project estimates and coordinate project setup.
• Manage model deliverables and clash detection meetings.
• Lead BIM execution plans and manage Common Data Environment usage.
• Coordinate laser scan data integration and Scan to BIM efforts.
• Lead on-site VDC processes and field trainings.
