Job summary

Clayco is seeking a VDC Engineer to join our growing team. You will support design-build delivery with 3D/2D coordination, BIM processes, and collaboration across design and construction teams nationwide.

You will work with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM tools, ensuring content quality, model changes, and clash resolution. Travel to job sites is required as projects span North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in AEC fields.
• 1–3 years in the AEC industry with MEP coordination experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with VDC/BIM processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate 3D and 2D content for design-build projects.
• Support design teams and subcontractors with BIM tasks.
• Provide technical support for in-house BIM tools and workflows.
• Assist Pre-Con with quantity extraction and scheduling.
• Coach project teams on BIM best practices.
• Model and manage content, tracking design updates and as-builts.
• Perform 4D and 5D analysis with scheduling and estimating teams.
• Document clash detection and assist in resolving conflicts.
