Job summary

Clayco, a full-service real estate development and construction firm, seeks a Virtual Design and Construction Senior Engineer to join its VDC team. You will act as a strategic asset on design-build projects, supporting digital practice technologies across design analysis, pre-construction, construction, and handover.

You will coordinate 3D/2D models, lead BIM workflows, collaborate with design teams and subs, and help drive project delivery through 4D/5D analyses while maintaining content

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in AEC disciplines required.
• 4+ years in the AEC industry with MEP coordination experience.
• Minimum 2 years with VDC/BIM processes.
• Strong knowledge of construction principles and practices.
• Experience with Autodesk BIM Suite and cloud-based tools.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist design-build team to facilitate 3D and 2D coordination.
• Coordinate BIM activities with design teams and subcontractors.
• Provide technical support for in-house BIM applications.
• Support pre-construction with quantities extraction and scheduling.
• Guide project teams in BIM best practices.
• Model content coordination and perform 4D/5D analyses.
• Document clash detection and assist in conflict resolution.
• Manage model changes through design updates.
• Serve as information manager for the project.
