Job summary

Clayco is seeking a VDC Senior Engineer to join our design-build teams across the United States. You will support 3D/2D coordination, BIM process implementation, and construction handover, helping deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

As part of Clayco’s Digital Practice, you will collaborate with design teams, subcontractors, and scheduling teams to optimize BIM workflows, perform 4D/5D analyses, and ensure accurate quantity take-offs. Travel to job sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
• 2+ years in AEC with emphasis on MEP coordination.
• 3+ years BIM related processes and software proficiency.
• Willing to travel/relocate to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate 3D and 2D coordination for design-build teams.
• Coordinate BIM tasks with design teams and subs.
• Provide technical support for in-house BIM tools.
• Assist Pre-Con with quantities and scheduling.
• Coach teams on BIM best practices and standards.
• Coordinate content and model updates across disciplines.
• Perform 4D and 5D analyses with scheduling and estimating.
• Document clash detection and resolve conflicts.
• Take-off material quantities for early estimating.
• Manage model changes through design updates.
